IPO was established at the University in 1994. Since that time the IPO has:
- opened a semester programme in English on economy in business “English Track”– the first programme of this kind in Poland
- started regular studies in English in International Business on Bachelor, Master and PhD level
- initiated and coordinated cooperation with over 200 partner universities from all over the world
- has gained 15 years' experience in applying and managing EU funds
IPO provides also services for the outgoing and incoming students as well as for the faculties in the following areas:
- counselling on procedures for participation in studies abroad
- providing full information about KUE
- counselling for international and Polish students on programmes offered in English
- providing administrative support for the semestral English Track programme and regular studies in English language in International Business and Corporate Finance and Accounting
- providing administrative support for the part-time Doctoral Programme in Economics, Finance and Management conducted in English
- preparing and coordinating mobility programmes Erasmus, CEEPUS with over 200 partner Universities
- cooperating with university networks, such as: EMBS, NIBES, EBC
- initiating new educational programmes, such as: The Scandinavian Module, Seminars with Professionals and Polish Path
- providing administrative support and managing the agreements for double diplomas with universities in France, Germany, Spain and USA
- coordinating student and faculty exchange within bilateral agreements and governmental scholarships (Japan, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, USA, Canada, China, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia)
- advertising the programmes in English offered at KUE in Poland and abroad
- preparation and implementation of TEMPUS projects
- organizing language courses for faculties of KUE
- organizing and coordinating summer schools and Erasmus Intensive Programmes
