Incoming students

All of our incoming students will have an amazing time in Krakow. The following sections will provide you with detailed pieces of information that every incoming student finds of interest.

 
 
We are pleased to invite all international students from all over the world.  During your exchange period in Krakow, you will get the opportunity to meet other students from over 250 partner schools and get acquainted with the Krakow University of Economics and the city of Krakow. 
You will study at KUE Business, Management or Finance in a multi-cultural environment and city of modern companies. 
 
Exchange programme application procedures
 
1. Nomination - KUE requires  an e-mail from the coordinator at home university, providing the following information:
 
  • First and last name of the student
  • E-mail address 
  • Level of study
  • Period of studies
  • Deadlines (EU-students and Non-EU students):
     winter semester  - May 31, summer semester - November 15
 
2. Application - if you have been nominated by your home university for mobility at KUE you need to register through the Internet Recruitment System (IRKA) - login and password will be sent after candidate's nomination providing the following information:
  • personal data
  • proof of English Language proficiency (min. B2 CEFR level) - scan (see the criteria)
  • good quality photo in JPG
  • scan of the valid ID (EU citizens) / passport (others)
  • other required information (home university name, home university coordinator contact details, contact person details in case of emergency)
Deadlines (EU-students and Non-EU students):
 winter semester  - June 15, summer semester - November 30
 
 
 
3. Acceptance letter: you will receive an e-mail of acceptance a few weeks after submission. Non-European citizens will additionally receive an official letter of acceptance which is needed when applying for a visa.

Psychological support - the Office for Students with Disabilities at CUE broadens the scope of support provided to students. All foreign English speaking students who are on exchange programmes or study full time at our University have the opportunity to benefit from free psychological consultations in English.
 
 
You can download the Erasmus+ App that is a mobile application for Erasmus+ participants that guides users through their mobility process and constitutes a single point of access to available online tools.
