Polish Module - preparatory course

The course has been designed to give participants a solid foundation of Polish language and vocabulary before taking up regular studies or starting a proffesional career in Poland.

 

Short information:

  • The Polish Module course has been designed to give participants a solid foundation of Polish language and vocabulary before taking up BSc or MSc regular studies or starting a proffesional career in Poland; duration of the course: academic year (October – June);
  • Thanks to the course participants will be able to improve their level of Polish according to Common European Framework; 
  • The course is open to general public;
  • It is a great way to start studies at Cracow University of Economics;
  • The Polish Module course ends with a final language exam. The exam will be recognised as a proof of Polish language competence required for BSc or MSc programmes admissions at Cracow University of Economics;
     

The benefits of the Polish Module course:

  • improve mathematics skills which will be an integral part of future studies (on both: economics or technical studies)

  • use all the University's facilities - the library, computer labs and sport facilities
  • meet students from all around the World
  • participate in cultural activities such as Cracow tour, museum visits, concerts, etc;
  • Candidates may choose the full programme that includes more than 600 teaching hours (general Polish language, business Polish, English language, mathematics) or the basic programme that includes only general Polish. Candidates who choose the second option may take extra courses – they can choose among English, Business Polish or mathematics;
 

The courses’ contents are described below:

 

Polish course 

480h of Polish language, starting from B1 level

 

Price: 2200 € (incl.the recruitment fee)

 

The price includes: recruitmnet fee, Polish course books, welcome lunch, sightseeing trip

 

The minimum number of participants: 12

 

 

 

Recruitment: DUE TO TOO LOW INTEREST OF THE COURSE IT WILL NOT BE RUN IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/24

 

In order to be enrolled to one of these programmes candidates will be asked to submit all the other documents required and pay the tuition fee.

Please note that course participants will not have student status and will not be given student ID card.

 

Admissions

  • STEP 1: till 18.08.2023 - submitting documents:

1. Application form - filled in and signed;
2. Copy of passport/ID Card;
3. Medical Certificate concerning candidate's health;
4. 1 photograph (35mm x 45mm)

 

STEP 2: 21.08 - 25.08.2023 recruitment interview veryfying language level (online)

 

  • STEP 3: till 01.09.2023 - tuition fee payment (bank account number will be given directly to admitted candidates)

Acceptance letters will be sent to candidates (under condition that the tuition fee has been paid).

  • STEP 4: till 30.09.2023 - submitting documents:

1. Copy of health insurance covering the entire period of studies in Poland;
2. Copy of visa/residence permit (more information: Małopolski Urząd Wojewódzki w Krakowie)
