About us

The International Programs Office performs administrative, informational, and advisory functions. In addition, the Office coordinates and develops foreign contacts that are important from the point of view of the KUE’s strategy, thus contributing to the development of the University’s international policy. This involves strengthening cooperation with strategic foreign partners, increasing the participation of foreign students in classes, internationalizing study programs, and incorporating youth mobility into them.

The international profile of the Krakow University of Economics best reflects its mission and goals related to internationalization. The University’s International Programs Office helps it achieve success in this field—meeting the highest standards in all areas of teaching and management in the context of increasing globalization and the educational expectations of the academic and business communities.

The IPO team is responsible for establishing and maintaining a network of direct contacts with EU institutions, partner schools, and other representatives operating on the global education market, and represents the University’s interests vis-à-vis academic centers in Europe and beyond. The Office also aims to seek partners in order to give the right direction to activities related to the education of KUE students abroad and to promote this part of the University’s activities.

IPO implements the educational objectives of EU programs and bilateral agreements (Erasmus+, CEEPUS, EMBS, double degrees, government scholarships, summer schools, etc.), administering programs, engaging in their implementation, and ensuring their proper execution. A separate area of responsibility undertaken by the Office is to function as a contact and information point for students and a place for the preparation and implementation of new EU projects. As part of its internal cooperation, the Office works closely with other University units pursuing similar goals.
