Outgoing students – interested in exchange
This section should be read before deciding to join the recruitment.
Recruitment
International Programs Office organizes recruitment for the following student exchange programmes: Erasmus+, Bilateral Agreements, Double Diploma, CEEPUS, STEP, and Swiss government scholarship
General criteria of qualification
Steps of recruitment:
- Language assessment – conducted by the Language Center (CJ)
- You can take part in the language qualification based on: your points or language course grade, an external language certificate or other document confirming your language proficiency, participation in a scholarship exam organized by the KUE Language Center (applies to students who do not have other confirmation of B2 level in a given language).
- Some of host institutions require certificates (IELTS, TOEFL, CAE, CPE) confirming very good command (B2 or C1) of English language. Students willing to apply for an exchange in one of those countries are obliged to submit a copy of the certificate both to the Language Center and to IPO, along with other documents.
- Approximate dates for language qualification: December/January (main intake), March/April (spring supplementary intake), and September (autumn supplementary intake – only language course grades and certificates, no exam).
- Students who have already taken part in language qualification tests within the last two years have points in the recruitment system and are not required to retake the language qualification test. If in doubt, please contact BPZ – rekrutacjabpz@uek.krakow.pl or lisiecka@uek.krakow.pl to check the validity period of the points awarded.
